Welcome to the APA!

Annual General Meeting Saturday April 26

Check lower on this page for PDF attachments related to the meeting.

We’re excited to invite you to the Abbotsford Pickleball Association's (APA) Annual General Meeting (AGM), rescheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, 12:30 PM start at AgRec. This is your chance to hear about our past year, review plans for 2025, and weigh in on the direction of our club! If you are playing before or after the AGM, we hope you will plan on extending your time to attend.

Important: We have created a free signup on SUH Login for the AGM. This will help us understand how many are attending, and when we FOB you in this will help us determine if there is a quorum. Even if you don't signup, do come if you are able.

The following pdf documents for your review, scroll to the bottom of this page to access:

• AGM Agenda

• Election Process and Candidate Information

• Compiled Financial Information (2024)

• Budget 2025

• Treasurer’s Report

• President’s Year-End Report

This year APA will be using a secure online electronic voting system to elect board members. The vote will be monitored by a Voting Committee comprised of two non-board members.

Each eligible APA member will be sent an invitation to vote by email when voting opens at 12 noon on Monday, April 21. If you do not see an email from APA in your email box, please check your Spam and Junk folders.

Also, when voting, it is essential that you mark either “Yes” for some or all candidates or “Abstain”. It is vital that voting forms be complete in order to be counted towards our quorum requirements. Note as well, that youth members, those under 18, are not eligible to vote.

Mark your calendars for April 26, and bring your thoughts and questions to AgRec! We’ll be there at 12:30 PM. If you have any questions about the AGM or the attached documents, feel free reach out to any board member or to me directly at (778) 598-3107 or president@abbotsfordpickleball.ca

Looking forward to seeing you there as we kick off another great year for APA!

Kind regards,

Bob MacMillan

President, Abbotsford Pickleball Association

Volunteer

Host a Session or Volunteer for Tournaments and Events!
The success of our Abbotsford Pickleball Association relies on the passion and dedication of our members. We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us create the best possible experience for everyone, both on and off the court. By hosting a session, you play a pivotal role in ensuring our community has fun, well-organized play. It’s a rewarding way to give back, connect with fellow players, and even earn a free session for each one you host!

In addition to hosting, we also need volunteers for our tournaments and other special events. Whether it’s helping with registration, managing brackets, or setting up courts, every contribution makes a huge difference. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn more about the game, and be part of the exciting atmosphere that makes our events so special. Your time and effort help keep our association thriving, and we truly appreciate your support!
