**IMPORTANT CHANGES TO DATE, VENUE AND FORMAT**

Hi Everyone,

The weather forecast for September 8 and 9 is for rain and cold so in consultation with Sean McCartan, we have made necessary changes to the clinics schedule so we don't have to cancel them.

The clinics will proceed indoors at the Canmore Rec Center (Room 200, 1900-8 Ave, Canmore, T1W 1Y2) instead of outdoors at Larch rink but will be condensed to Thursday, September 8 – so all four clinics on one day as follows:

Advanced (4) / Intermediate (currently 3, room for one more) 9a.m. - 11:30 am

Novice (currently 7, room for 1 more) 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Level Up (currently 6, room for 2 more) 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The sign-up schedule still has the previous dates and times so just sign-up for the session you're interested in on the basis of the date and times noted above. If you have previously signed up and are unable to accommodate the change, please let Doug Thomson know (douglas.j.thomson@shaw.ca) as soon as possible and you will be given a full refund.

Sean will still be bringing demo paddles for you to try out and for purchase.

Next Player Development Clinics with Sean McCartan – September 8 and 9

Sean McCartan is coming back to do another set of Player Development Clinics on September 8 and 9, 2022.

Thursday September 8

9:00 - 11:30 Advanced 8 players

12:30 -3:00 Intermediate 8 players

Friday September 9

9:00 - 11:30 Novice 8 players

12:30 - 3:00 Level Up 8 players

The Level Up Session is intended for participants from the August 15 session who want to work on skills and strategies to further develop their game. This session will be of primary interest to the Intermediate and Advanced players.

Registration fee will be $75.00 per participant – a slight increase from the previous sessions so our court rental fees will be covered by the participant registration fees.

These Player Development Sessions will open for registration online on Sunday, August 28 at 6:00 pm. Details will be sent on Sunday morning.

BVPA members from the Wait List from the August 15 sessions will be given the opportunity to register earlier at 5:00 pm. At 6:00 pm, registrations will be open to the entire BVPA membership.

We expect these sessions will fill up quickly so please be ready when the registrations open up for you.

In addition, Sean will bring demo paddles and paddles for sale when he comes in September so even if you are not registered for a session, come on down and try out the newest in pickleball paddles!
