- We invite you to come and try the sport of Pickleball, see how much fun we are having and see if you think you would like it. You can do this twice with no charge. We supply paddles and balls; all you need is a pair of indoor running shoes. We will ask you to sign a liability waiver that will cover these 2 tries; however, thereafter,...to play on our indoor courts you must be a member of the Ituna Pickleball Club and as well, pay a User/Drop In Fee which will allow you to play every Monday and Wednesday from October to April or May. Your User Fee can be paid with cash or cheque when you come to play or by e-transer to itunapickleballclub@gmail.com
How Can I Become a Member and How Much Does it Cost?
- You can become a member by going here or by clicking on the Join-Renew Button as seen in the Menu. By becoming a member of the Ituna Club you also become a member of Pickleball Saskatchewan and Pickleball Canada. This will cost you $26.18 in total.... $10 goes to our Ituna Club, $10 goes to Pickleball Canada and $5 goes to Pickleball Saskatchewan; There is a service charge of $1.18.
Why Should I become a Member?
The biggest advantage of becoming a member is for insurance purposes. As a member you are insured for any injuries that could happen and because we are playing in the school, our insurance also releases the school from liability if an injury or accident occurs while we are playing in the school. More information about the Insurance coverage can be found here. This insurance covers you for a full year, indoor as well as outdoor play.
Secondly, our Ituna Club receives a MAP grant from Pickleball Saskatchewan each year. This is a program supported by Saskatchewan Lotteries that enables Pickleball Saskatchewan Inc to allocate funds directly to its affiliated clubs. As a Club, part of the amount of funding we receive is in accordance with the number of members we have.
