Craig Lanning

Coach Craig has been playing pickleball for just four years, but his rapid rise in the sport shows his dedication and love for the game. He’s trained under some of the best, including coach Peter Dellaluna (Fort Myers, FL) and pro-level coaches Cam Taylor (Wasaga Beach, ON), Corey Osborne (Midland, ON), and Chase Blocker (Daytona Beach, FL). Craig regularly medals in local tournaments and is well respected within the regional pickleball community.

Before discovering pickleball, Craig spent years coaching volleyball at the Club, Regional, and University levels as a Level II certified coach. That experience helped shape his calm, technical, and encouraging approach to teaching.

Now, Craig combines his passion for coaching with his love of pickleball to help players take their game to the next level. His lessons focus on strong technical foundations, smart strategy, and a positive, focused mindset—all within a supportive and enjoyable learning environment.

Craig is a certified Level 1 instructor with Pickleball Canada.

Ron Osborn

Coaching Bio

  • a life long Stratford & area resident, have been active in Pb with various area clubs & associations for the past 5 yrs.
  • received Level 1 coaching certification from Pickleball Canada - Sept 2024
  • for the past 4 yrs, rented gym time to organize & coach evening sessions for all age groups & skill levels for new or recently new to Pb.
  • as a certified Pb coach & member of SPA, I am dedicated to skill development, sportsmanship & inclusive participation.
  • primary focus has been with adult/senior level recreational level players to promote growth in, confidence & enjoyable in the game of Pb.
  • committed to creating a safe & enjoyable environment to all active in Pb.
  • co-ordinated a youth program in conjunction with a local service club & SPA.
  • invited to teach Pb to grade 7& 8 students at Stratford Intermediate School for 2 yrs.
  • passionate about growth in Pb in the surrounding region in order to foster respect & consideration on & off the court.
