How to play in the Club
In order to play indoors with the Swift Current Pickleball Club you must first be a member of Pickleball Saskatchewan and Pickleball Canada. To do this, click on the Join-Renew button above.
When you Join-Renew, an annual fee of $20 will be payable, which covers your Swift Current Pickleball Club membership ($5), Pickleball Saskatchewan membership ($5) and Pickleball Canada membership ($10).
Keeping your membership up to date each year keeps your Sports Injury Insurance in place, which is a requirement to play indoors with the Club.
Once you are a member, you may then attend indoor play by paying $5 at the door. If you are visiting from another Pickleball Canada club, the drop-in fee is $10.
2026 Annual General Meeting
Our Annual General meeting will be held September 20 at 1:00pm at the Stockade. Bring your paddles! Free play will follow the meeting.
The AGM will consist of a recap, sharing of plans and welcoming our newest Board members.
Descriptions of Play
The following descriptions of play are in place to help you attend the most appropriate indoor group:
Non-Competitive:
A club member completely familiar with the rules and who may have played competitively before, but prefers a bit slower and less aggressive game.
Open:
All club members playing at any level. All 4 players on the court are asked to play at everyone's comfort level. Experienced players may use this time to practice different shots and strategies, such as placing the ball strategically instead of smashing it hard. Inexperienced players can use the same game to improve their skills and still feel comfortable and confident on the court.
Competitive:
A club member that is very proficient in the rules and strategies of the game. Members at competitive time slots have recently competed in tournaments or are working towards that level. Players at competitive times must be comfortable with very aggressive, fast play.
Beginner/New Player:
A club member that has not yet had the experience of playing one full season on a consistent basis and is not completely familiar/doesn't member all of the rules of play.
