Mix & Match Pickleball Tournament

Tournament Details

Tournament Dates and Times:
Saturday, September 23rd: 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Sunday, September 24th: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Note: We will take a break for lunch from 12:00-1:00pm; lunch not provided)

Arrival Time:
Please arrive between 12:45 PM and 1:00 PM on Saturday and by 8:45 AM on Sunday. We kindly ask that you do not arrive any earlier than the specified times. Upon arrival, check in at the registration table to receive your match assignments and further instructions. 

What to Bring:
- Your pickleball paddle.
- Appropriate indoor sports attire and footwear.
- A reusable water bottle for hydration throughout the tournament.
- Meals and snacks for the day as there will be no food available on-site. Please enjoy your meals and snacks only in designated areas.
- (optional) Folding chair: benches will be available, however, you may prefer to sit in a folding chair between games/during breaks.
- (optional) Hat and sunglasses: Weather permitting, there will be space outdoors for people to enjoy between games/during breaks.

We respect individual choices regarding mask-wearing. Please be considerate of others' preferences.

Please note that our board members will be taking photos throughout the day. If you do not want to be featured in any pictures, please alert one of our board members.

Tournament Format:
Our tournament features a mix and match format for three divisions: novice, intermediate, and advanced. The schedule of games will be provided upon your arrival at the venue.

Please ensure that you are a member of Pickleball Ontario before arriving to the tournament.

Volunteer

We are seeking some dedicated volunteers to help make our first tournament a success! If you have a love for pickleball and a desire to contribute to a vibrant sporting event, we would love to have you on board. As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in various aspects of the tournament, from assisting with court set-up and equipment management to scorekeeping and player registration. Your dedication and support will ensure a seamless experience for all. No prior experience is necessary – just a positive attitude and willingness to lend a hand!
