Memberships are non-transferable.

REGISTER TO PLAY ON PLAYTIME SCHEDULER.

Be prepared to show I.D. when you enter the courts - take a screen shot of your membership card and show it to volunteers upon arrival. Wrist bands are available for easy recognition.

Bringing Guests: members may bring a guest only twice during the season due to insurance coverage. After that, they will need to join Ramsden Pickleball to play further

For safety reasons, wear court shoes

Courts will not open when it rains or if courts are wet

Volunteer

Volunteering includes assisting with the setting up of nets prior to 9:30am day of play and tear down after permitted time ends. Also includes identification of members arriving, explaining membership/permit details to walk-ins, managing the whiteboard and having access to member emergency contacts. You will always have a partner to assist you. And of course you’ll still be able to play that day.

Purpose of Ramsden Pickleball

To gather a community of 3.0 and up players to enjoy camaraderie, exercise and dedicated time to play our favourite sport of pickleball.
Code of Conduct

It's important to follow a code of conduct to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players:
1. Respect for Others: Treat all players with respect and courtesy. Avoid disrespectful language, gestures, or behavior.
2. Fair Play: Play the game honestly and fairly, following the rules and regulations of the game. Avoid cheating or engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct.
3. Safety First: Prioritize the safety of yourself and others. Be mindful of your surroundings and avoid reckless play or actions that could cause harm to yourself or fellow players.
4. Good Sportsmanship: Display good sportsmanship at all times. Accept both victories and defeats graciously, and avoid excessive celebrations or taunting.
5. Communication: Maintain clear and respectful communication with your partner and opponents. Use proper language and tone when discussing game-related matters.
6. Line Calls: Make line calls with honesty and integrity. Give your opponents the benefit of the doubt when close calls are difficult to determine. If in doubt, the ball is typically considered "in."
7. Time Management: Respect the pace of play and adhere to established time limits for warm-ups, timeouts, and breaks. Avoid unnecessary delays and keep the game flowing smoothly.
8. Equipment and Court Care: Handle equipment with care and avoid damaging the court, net or surrounding area. Report any equipment malfunctions or hazards to the volunteer on duty.
9. Cooperation: Work together with your partner and opponents to maintain a friendly and cooperative atmosphere. Help less experienced players understand the rules and strategies of the game.
10. Adherence to Venue Rules: Follow any additional rules or guidelines set by the club where you're playing pickleball. This may include dress codes, usage of specific equipment, or other requirements.
Remember, the code of conduct is meant to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. By adhering to these principles, you contribute to a welcoming and enjoyable pickleball community.
