How to determine what level to register
Green Level
Choose the Green Level if you have limited experience playing pickleball or if you prefer a slower pace of play. You can keep a short rally going and you have a basic understanding of the rules.
Blue Level
Choose the Blue Level if you can hit forehand drives, serves, and returns with medium pace but you may lack some consistency and control. You understand the basic strategy and rules of pickleball and know the importance of getting to the NVZ line. You enjoy a faster paced game but also start the occasional dinking battle.
Black Level
Choose the Black Level if you can hit drives, serves, and returns with pace and consistency. You try to drop your third shots when appropriate and move quickly to the NVZ line when you have the opportunity. You are also comfortable hitting and defending fast paced overhead smashes.
Double Black Level
Choose the Double Black Level if you can generally hit both forehand and backhand drives, serves, and returns with pace, as well as dinks, drop shots, and volleys (including block volleys) of different speeds. You have consistency and control with most of your shots. You have a moderate number of unforced errors, and you understand how to attack your opponents’ weaknesses
