WELCOME TO THE CLUB!
The Orillia Pickleball club was formed in July 2024, with a mandate to increase opportunities for Orillia and area residents to play, and to promote the development of skills for all members, regardless of age, stage or skill level.
The club executive is committed to working with the City of Orillia Parks & Recreation in key ways:
- secure predictable, convenient times for facility use (indoor and outdoor) throughout the year
- promote the city as a vibrant and growing community that is welcoming of Pickleball enthusiasts
- provide input on how the sport grows in the city, whether through increasing programs, improving existing spaces or developing new facilities
DONATE TO THE CLUB
Donations can be made by e-transfer to orilliapickleballclub@gmail.com
The club is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers, so all donations to the club will be put towards supporting the activities of the club: court rentals; loaner paddles; balls; tournaments; marketing; etc.
Important: We are currently unable to issue tax receipts for donations and any funds received are not for goods or services.

Orillia Pickleball Tournament a Huge Success!
The City of Orillia and the Orillia Pickleball Club partnered to put on the first ever pickleball tourament hosted at the Orillia Recreation Centre. The event was held on Saturday, November 16th from 8am-2pm, and utilized all 6 courts. The inauguaral event was kept to a simplified two divisions (Beginner/Novice & Intermediate/Advanced) with general teams, partly to gauge interest in more specialized tournaments and formats in the future. Safe to say, support was overwhelming and bodes well for future events featuring men's, women's and mixed doubles formats. See the OrilliaMatters.com coverage of the event for more details: "City's first pickleball tournament a hit with athletes"
