WELCOME

Our Pickelball Club was formed in October 2023. The goal of our club is to provide Shellbrook and area residents with the opportunity to experience pickleball, to provide guidance to learn the skills of the game and enjoy the fun of the sport. We are of varying ages and skill levels and love the social aspect of the game.

  • Name change

    Our club underwent a name change from "Prairie Pickleball Club" to "Shellbrook Boreas Pickleball" in September 2025. This was due to the name Prairie Pickleball being trademarked by a Canadian company and our club received a cease and desist order on the use of the name "Prairie Pickleball". On September 22, 2025 our new club name is "Shellbrook Boreas Pickleball".

  • 2025-2026 Pickleball Play

    Indoor play began October 1, 2025 and play continues every Wednesday evening at the W.P. Sandin Public High School in Shellbrook, from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM. We welcome anyone who would like to come out and try the sport. No experience is necessary. The first visit is free of charge and we supply paddles and balls. Please wear indoor running shoes. Come out and join in the fun!
