Postponement of Picklball Saturdays

Pickleball Saturdays have been postponed until at least after Thanksgiving, due to the strike. When we get back in, it will be open to all members.

Anyone who becomes a member after Oct 1, 2023 will have their membership expiry date extended to December 31, 2024!While we encourage folks to become members, we advise to wait till October 1. In the meantime, provide your names and email addresses to princealbertpickleballclub@gmail.com.

Introducing Saturday Evening Pickleball at the Alfred Jenkins Fieldhouse

Do you work or have school during the daytime and haven't found an opportunity for indoor pickleball? We have the solution at last!! The P.A. Pickleball club is renting a timeslot this fall at the Alfred Jenkins Field house.

we will start a Saturday evening program on September 9, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm, starting October 7, 2023

the hours will be 6pm to 8pm.

PICKLEBALL LESSONS and PADDLES WILL BE OFFERED IN THE FIRST HOUR

Summer 2023

It may not seem like it, but summer is just around the corner. Indoor play can continue at the Alfred Jenkins Fieldhouse on the same days and times during the summer.Outdoor play can be had at the Midtown courts, but they are public courts so it's first come first serve. This is not organized but we may be setting up a WhatsApp "outdoor group". Stay tuned.Outdoor courts will soon be available at the Carlton Park Community Club's outdoor rink. There are court lines painted on the north end of the rink and a net or two will be left out on the courts. Bring your own balls and paddles.

SSFA 55 Plus Summer Games

Prince Albert will be hosting the Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association 55 plus summer games on June 14/15/16, 2022.

Pickleball will be one of the events. Information on registering to play or volunteer in the games is available at:

Volunteers will be needed as we expect to have at least 3 venues to run. Volunteers should be available for all three days. We will have a Venue Director at each venue and need about four or five volunteers at each venue to help run the draws.

If you are interested in volunteering please let me know as soon as possible.

The Games Coordinator is asking for our volunteer list by March 31.

Play inside at the Fieldhouse!

Pickleball play has resumed at Alfred Jenkins Fieldhouse in Prince Albert. Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm. Normal fees for using the facility are necessary.
In the meantime outdoor play will continue as weather permits. Players will continue to use WhatsApp to schedule games.

Outdoor Play has resumed!!!

Outdoor pickleball play is happening in Prince Albert!! The weather has been variable and thus no set times for play. The players have been using WhatsApp to communicate dates and times. If you would like to be added to the WhatsApp group, please contact princealbertpickleballclub@gmail.com. Provide your name and phone number. We play at the midtown tennis courts on 540 - 9th Street East. These courts are public and shared with the tennis players. All etiquette is to be followed in terms of sharing of courts.
