Clinic is intended for players who are familiar with basic rules and strokes of pickleball and want to develop a more reliable, well-rounded game. Led by 2 certified coaches Jerry Skilton, Jill Milrose.

Description for Beginner/Adv. Beginner

For members that have taken a Learn To Play clinic somewhere and understand basic rules and strokes of the game.

DAY 1

Objective is to build confidence at the non-volley zone and improve shot consistency while learning fundamental strategies.

* Serve and return of serve

* Drives and drop shots

* Dinking fundamentals

Players will begin to understand the how, when, and why behind each shot and how these skills fit into basic strategy.

If you’re ready to improve your net play and overall consistency through focused drills and instruction, this clinic is for you.

DAY 2

Objective is to build consistency, improve court positioning and begin integrating strategy into match play.

* Setting up for dinking exchanges

* Blocking volleys and executing reset shots

* Reacting effectively to overheads

Participants will also be introduced to second- and third-shot strategy, learning the how,when,and why behind smart shot selection and point construction.
