Inter-club Play Pilot
MPC is looking for male and female players age 55 and up and skill levels between >3.5 and <4.5 who are ready to take up this challenge on behalf our club.
To start, we need a minimum of 4 male and 4 female players. Since this is the summer and members likely have holiday plans, we would like up to an additional 4 male and 4 female players as alternates.
Match play will consist of:
- Men’s and Women’s doubles (2 gamees each)
- Mixed Doubles (4 games in a 4 team round robin)
- Doubles Dreambreaker (1 game whole team)
All games will use rally scoring – games to 15 win by 2. Dreambreaker – game to 21 win by 2.
The overall scoring will use this format:
The winning team in each game receives 2 points. The losing team receives 1 point if they score more than 6 or 8 points in their match.
Tryouts will be held Sunday May 18 and/or May 25 6:00 p.m. at MPC
Fee: $20.00 payable upon selection.
