Learn to Play Pickleball (Outdoors Saturdays 12:30 to 2 pm, starts on June 13th, 4 sessions)

Registration Fees

Registration for this 4 session program is $104 for Halifax Pickleball Club members and $114 for non-members. These prices include all transaction fees.

Participation is open to ages 19 or older. If you are not a club member consider joining -- which you can do at the same time as registering -- to support us and to access our other programs in future.

Initially all registrants will be placed on a waiting list. Once we know enough have registered to support this program we will notify individuals that a space is available for them and require payment only at that time. Once we reach capacity individuals left on the waiting list will be contacted first for future sessions.

Fees are non-refundable (if you need to cancel and there is someone on the waiting list able to take your spot we will refund all but an administrative fee, but we cannot guarantee this).

As the city does not provide refunds for rain dates we have allowed for 2 rescheduled lessons -- if additional dates need to be cancelled for weather we will provide a partial refund of the coaching portion of the fee, but we cannot refund the amount that was paid for courts (unless the city should happen to change its policy).

Les autres informations

Halifax Pickleball Club Learn to Play -- Saturdays from 12:30 to 2 pm (4 sessions starting June 13th -- scheduled to finish July 4 but with rain dates possible on July 11 and 18)

Ready to learn the fastest growing sport in North America? Looking to meet new people and get more active? Then this is the program for you. Our learn to play is suited to all ages and is run for small groups to ensure hands on learning and easy to follow instruction. You will be learning from the best! AND if you are registering before May 11 you will be entered in a draw for a chance to win a Selkirk Amped Control paddle.

Our skilled coaches will take you through the basics of the game – including how to score, the rules of play, basic strategy, foundational shots, and how to choose a paddle. They will have you game ready and looking for more. And if (or should we say when?) you get hooked we have other programs for new players coming up soon so that you can continue to develop your game and keep moving.

Players can bring their own paddle or use one provided by the coaches. Wear court shoes, bring plenty of water, and we recommend the use of eye protection (sun glasses may be needed).
