Welcome to Northern Lights Pickleball

Northern Lights Pickleball (NLP) was established in 2022 with a clear vision: to grow the sport of pickleball for all ages and abilities by creating opportunities to participate recreationally, competitively, and socially — while promoting the physical and mental health benefits of the game within a strong community environment.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Northern Lights offers year-round indoor play (winter and summer) with a wide variety of structured programming, including:

• Open Play

• Skill-Level Play

• Round Robins

• Men’s & Ladies Leagues

• Partners Night

• Seasonal Special Events

We are proud to have certified Pickleball Instructors who provide coaching for beginner and intermediate players looking to improve their skills, strategy, and confidence on the court.

Programming

During the winter season, sessions run Monday through Thursday evenings. Summer programming is adjusted based on member demand. All player spots are booked in advance through SignUpGenius, with weekly group emails sent 7–10 days prior to each session.

Membership Information

Club registration opens September 1, 2025, for the 2026 indoor calendar year. At that time, members may also renew their Pickleball Alberta and Pickleball Canada memberships for 2026.

Membership Information

The annual membership fee for Northern Lights Pickleball is $55.00 per year for adults and youth (age 12 and up).

In addition, members are required to hold active memberships with:

• Pickleball Alberta – 2026 rate

• Pickleball Canada – 2026 rate

These memberships are processed simultaneously during registration if you have not already renewed independently.

A small processing fee is applied at checkout to cover system administration and credit card processing.

Membership Term:
The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.

If you join on September 1 or later, your membership will extend through December 31 of the following year, giving you added value for your registration.
