This is a fun summer-long 3.25+ ladder league where participants will move up or down the ladder after each week’s round-robin play.
All participants must register through the Global Pickleball Network app (GPN) by accepting the invitation to play, which will be sent to your email.
Your contact information will be shared with the league organizer, Barb McCarthy. She will be in contact to provide further information and instructions in the days leading up to the league.
Each week, players will be put into groups of 4 or 5, and they will play a series of games with rotating partners. Scores will be recorded and used to calculate the ladder ranking the following week.
The Format is as follows;
Groups of 4: 1 game to 15
Groups of 5: 1 game to 11
All games win by 1
This league is open to levels 3.25 and above. Therefore, a seeding will be based on players' rating (3.25 = 1450, 3.5 = 1500, 4.0 = 1600, etc).
One player from each game must record the score in the app and verify that the scores are correct. This is particularly important, as it will enable players to advance up the ladder.
Please ensure you RSVP through the Global Pickleball Network App each week to confirm your spot. The first 40 players to RSVP will be scheduled to play that week. All others will be placed on a waitlist and may have the opportunity to fill in if someone cancels. If a spot becomes available, an email will be sent out six hours before the event. The first person to respond will be added to the schedule.
