Code of Conduct
In addition to adhering to the Pickleball Canada Policy - Code of Conduct, members and nonmembers who play at the Kensington Pickleball Club agree to:
- Remember that pickleball is a game and we are playing to learn and have fun
- Treat others with respect. Be a positive influence and encourage teamwork
- Exhibit fairness and honesty in our dealings with others and in making calls
- Engage in a manner that would never endanger the health, safety or well-being of others (ie: throwing paddles or running after the ball behind or in another court)
- Refrain from the use of profanity and do not be critical of your partner or other players
- Respect various skill levels when playing with or against other players
- Communicate with other players actively and positively as communication improves your game
- Be familiar with all other policies and guidelines of the Kensington Pickleball Club
Discipline Policy
If a player fails to abide by this Code of Conduct, the Board of Directors may suspend the player for a period of time. First and second offences may be limited to a verbal warning depending on severity as determined by the Board of Directors. Third offence will result in the immediate termination of membership.
