The Municipality of Lakeshore has now drafted a Pickleball Court Agreement, which will be presented to City Council for approval on April 29th. If approved, the Lakeshore Pickleball Association will be signing this agreement as the preferred pickleball association partnering with Lakeshore.

Some Helpful Information….
Ladder Format......What does it look like?
- - 6 people per court
- - follow the score sheet for order of play
- - record score after each game on score sheet
- - each player will play 6 games with standard scoring to 11
- - at the end of play the scores are totalled and this determines what court you play on the next week; the person with the highest total score on each court moves up, lowest total score moves down, other 4 will stay on the same court for the following week
- - if you are absent you will return to the same court as when you left
The ladder format helps keep us playing with people of similar skill levels. Any skill level is welcome! Each week you play 6 games on one court with 6 people. Game scores are recorded and each week the playlist is tweaked with players moving up or down a court (or staying) based on performance. This should keep the play challenging but still fun for all!
What is DUPR?
DUPR stands for Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating. It is a global rating system designed specifically for pickleball players of all levels. The system helps to provide a unique and accurate measure of a player's skill level, irrespective of age, gender or location. This rating system is dynamic, meaning it can change will every game played and reported. This provides a real-time reflection of a player's ability and is useful for tournament ranking, seeding, and even friendly games between casual players. You will have access to log into your account at any time to monitor your performance.
