Learn to Play

New to Pickleball?

We play on 20 outdoor courts at the South Country Co-op Pickleball Courts, located next to the Big Marble Go Center in Cresent Heights. Our outdoor season officially opens each year on May 1st and runs well into the fall.

**For indoor play options, please visit the Indoor Pickleball Info tab (these programs are not affiliated with MHPC.**

Learn to Play Program

Our Learn to Play program consists of two 2-hour sessions and is open to both members and non-members. These sessions are ideal for people who are new to the sport or have limited pickleball experience. Learn to Play sessions may start before May 1 as weather permits.

Participants will learn the rules of the game, basic skills, court positioning, scorekeeping, and more in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The program is designed to help players build confidence, understand the flow of the game, and enjoy their first rallies and games before progressing to beginner or social play.

The Learn to Play program fee for non-members is $10 per person for both sessions. We provide paddles, balls, instruction—and plenty of fun!

Members: Included in your Membership Fee.

Participation is limited to individuals who are registered through CourtReserve (Ways to Play).
