Red Deer Pickleball Club

Introduction

The Red Deer Pickleball Club facilitates the enjoyment, and social engagement of players by offering recreational and competitive play. We are located in central Alberta and enjoy pickleball in our twenty court outdoor facility.

  • Our annual membership fee is $50.00 for adults and no cost for youth(U18) 
  • Fees for Pickleball Alberta($5.00) and Pickleball Canada($10.00), processing fees and GST are additional.
  • We do not presently offer prorated membership fees.
  • New memberships and renewals for the new year are available as early as Oct 1/21. This means members who join after September 30, 2021 will be active from the date of their payment until December 31, 2022. Members whose membership is already active to December 31, 2021 can pay for their 2022 membership anytime after September 30 and their expiry date will be updated to December 31, 2022.
  • Please note your membership is non-transferable.
  • Our Primary Season is Outdoors May 1 - Sept. 30th.
  • During the winter season, our members benefit from scheduled indoor play October Through April(when facilities are available for dedicated club use). Otherwise there are numerous community venues available( See Indoor Play link on our main website).
  • Your membership includes unlimited outdoor court play.
  • From time to time, the RDPC will schedule courts and playtime by skills ratings, gender, drills, and other specific uses. While you do NOT need a skills ratings to play in open/drop-in court times, there will be courts and times reserved for club or tournament rated players. A member does not require a certain rating to play on a rated court, but should have the necessary skill set of that rating.
  • Non-Members fees
    As of July 2nd/21, the drop-in rate for adult non members will be $10/person/day. This is payable to the court captain when signing in. 
    There is no fee for youth (under 18) for drop-in play.
  • Private courts and ball machines may not be booked by a non member. An active RDPC member may book courts to play with non members but they also need to collect the fee of $10.00/person to submit to the club.
  • Non members who are members in an affiliated Pickleball Canada club who wish to become RDPC members only pay the RDPC membership fee of $50.00 and not the Pickleball Canada or Pickleball Alberta fees again. You only pay the PC or PA fees once.
