The Canadian Parks and Recreation Association, through it's Reaching Each And Everyone grant program, allowed the Revelstoke Pickleball Club to introduce the game of pickleball to under-represented groups of the Revelstoke population. Our program was particularly targeted at two groups: newcomers and seniors. The grant allowed us to advertise the program, rent an indoor facility, purchase portable nets, paddles, and balls, and purchase mandatory Pickleball Canada memberships for participants. Participation was enthusiastic and we appreciate the support for the game of pickleball in Revelstoke.
