NATIONAL PICKLEBALL DAY

NATIONAL PICKLEBALL DAY is a joint effort between Kerry Park Recreation and
South Cowichan Pickleball Club. Registration for all events is handled by Kerry
Park Recreation.

NATIONAL PICKLEBALL DAY EVENTS Saturday, August 10, 2024

90-Minute Tournament / Round Robin (up to level 3.25) / 8:30-10:30 am / $10
90-Minute Tournament / Round Robin (level 3.5+) / 10:30-12:30 pm / $10
Dinkathon & Other Fun Pickleball Games / 1:00-2:30 pm / $10

• For the 90 Minute Round Robin Tournaments, the 6 courts will be divided into 3
  sections (A, B, C) with each section having 8 players. Each section plays a
  Round Robin. Players will play 7 games with a mix of partners and genders
  changing with every game.

• Each game lasts 10 minutes with scoring continuing until the whistle blows.
  Games will be played using rally scoring.

• The Dinkathon will use 4 courts with 8 players assigned to either section A or B following the format above.

• Final scoring within each section will be based on individual’s wins and accumulated scores.
