What is Organized Open Play?
- Among the most popular events of the 2025 season, Organized Open Play uses paddle stacking divided into gold and silver boxes to mix up players across four courts.
- Players register as individuals.
- As players arrive, they will take a court and begin playing until all four courts are filled. Remaining players will add their paddles to the gold and silver stacks based on their own preference.
- At the end of each game, winners will add their paddles to the top of the gold stack and losers will do the same on the silver stack.
- When a court becomes available, four paddles are pulled from the bottom of the gold stack and those players take the court. When the next court becomes available, four paddles are pulled from the bottom of the silver stack and those players take the court. This alternating pattern continues for the remainder of the event.
- Standard pickleball scoring to 11, win by 2 points.
