Program Details

Halifax Pickleball Club Learn to Play -- Mondays and Wednesdays starting October 19 and ending November 11 (8 sessions) from 1 pm to 3 pm

Ready to learn the fastest growing sport in North America? Looking to meet new people and get more active? Then this is the program for you. Our 8 session learn to play is run for small groups with plenty of hands on coaching and opportunity to practice your new skills.

Our skilled coaches will take you through the basics of the game – including how to score, the rules of play, basic strategy, foundational shots, and how to choose a paddle. They will have you game ready and looking for more. And if (or should we say when?) you get hooked we are looking at running an afternoon novice league in future so that you can continue to develop your game and keep moving.

Players can bring their own paddle OR use one of our paddles.

Bring non-marking indoor shoes (shoes MUST be changed on entry), your water bottle, and eye protection (highly recommended) if you have it -- we also have loaner goggles available. Our facility dress code requires loose fitting clothing that covers from shoulders to fully past the knees. And we ask players to avoid orange and neon/fluorescent clothing.
