Atlantic 2026 Pickleball Championships See Dates

OFFICIATE TRAINING INTEREST ON PEI

PEI PICKLEBALL IPE is pleased that we have eight Participants from PEI PICKLEBALL IPE taking the Officiate Training. Once the participants receive their Level 1 Officiate designation, we look forward to seeing them refereeing games at the Atlantic 2026 Pickleball Championships in June. What a great show of interest on the part of the of the participants. The Atlantic Championships taking place from June 19 - 21 at the Pownal Sports Centre will provide a great opportunity to put their Refereeing skills into practice at a Sanctioned Tournament right here on PEI. PEI PICKLEBALL IPE is very pleased with this show of interest. Presently Daniel Zhang is the only Official from Prince Edward Island

We are pleased to announce that Daniel Zhang has successfully completed the Level 1 Officiate training is the first credentialed Referee in Pickleball on PEI.

Daniel will be Officiating at the PEI PICKLEBALL IPE Provincial Championships in Charlottetown on July 18 – 20.

Daniel is willing to answer questions about taking the Officiating Program. We have a total of 24 NCCP Certified Pickleball Coaches in PEI! Congratulations to the Level 1 and 2 Coaches.

VN PICKLEBALL CLUB.

PEI PICKLEBALL ÎPÉ is pleased to announce that VN Pickleball Club, in Charlottetown, is the most recent club to become affiliated with PEI Prince Edward Island ÎPÉ.

COACHES IN PEI SCHOOLS

PEI Pickleball ÎPÉ has been providing Pickleball Coaches to schools across Prince Edward Island to introduce the students to the sport of Pickleball.

This is offered in the Physical Education class and is made possible by a grant from Amateur Sport, Division of Sport, Recreation, and Physical Activity. The response from the schools has been great, and the Children love it. The Phys Ed Teachers have been most welcoming. Over 1000 children have been introduced to the sport.

Thank you to the Pickleball Coaches who have assisted in conducting this program.

NATIONAL AND PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS ANNOUNCED

The 2026 Pickleball Canada National Championship

Pickleball Canada National Championship – August 24 to 30, 2026 Hosted by Pickleplex Social Club in the Greater Toronto Area.

Registration for the 2026 National Championships will open Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 9:00 pm EST via Pickleball.com
