Championing the Future of Peninsula Pickleball
The Peninsula Community Pickleball Club is thrilled to announce a bold new chapter for our sport on the Saanich Peninsula. Driven by the incredible growth of our community and a shared passion for the game, we are officially embracing community-wide support for all Peninsula players. Our mission? Championing the creation of a rapid development, premier, dedicated pickleball court facility on the Saanich Peninsula for the entire community to enjoy.
Our Vision
A Hub for Community Play, Connection, and Competition
We aren’t just dreaming of a few lines painted on asphalt—we are advocating for a world-class, accessible facility that our region can be proud of. Our comprehensive overall vision features:
- 8 Dedicated Tournament-Grade Outdoor Courts: Designed for top-tier competitive play, local tournaments, and daily community use.
- A Covered Facility: A protective building over the main courts to ensure year-round, all-weather play.
- 4 Additional Open-Air Courts: Perfect for recreational play, drop-ins, and clinics under the sun.
Current Status
We are in the very early stages of this project which focuses on market research, and rallying community engagement and support.
Strategic, Phased Approach
We know the demand for court time is high right now. To ensure we get players on the courts as quickly as possible, our vision will see this project built out in strategic phases.
By breaking the development into manageable steps, we aim to service the entire Peninsula pickleball-playing public as quickly, efficiently, and responsibly as possible.

The Peninsula Community Pickleball Club (PCPC) is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant pickleball culture across all user groups on the Saanich Peninsula. Our vision is to build a community space where the sport can grow and thrive for generations to come. Our goal is to build courts that service every type of player across the peninsula, including YOU! Please join the new Community Court Project group, and together, let’s build some courts!

The Community Court Project group is hosted by the Peninsula Community Pickleball Club. The goal of this group is to pool community resources, and form a singular, regional, informed, and united group of local residents and players - working together to build a home for pickleball on the Saanich Peninsula.
Membership in the Peninsula Community Pickleball Club is not required unless you wish to participate in our unique brand of organized play. More information on organized play with PCPC can be found here
