Sunday - Open Play
Barrie Pickleball Club's Sunday Winter/Spring Open Play session is suitable for adult players of all levels and abilities. The gym at Maple Ridge School has room for 9 pickleball courts with limited spacing behind and between courts. A whiteboard sign-up system will be used to organize players and courts.
Play will take place the following dates (other dates are unavailable) at Maple Ridge Secondary School from 10am to 2pm:
- February 5th
- February 19th
- March 12th
- April 2nd
- April 16th
- April 23rd
- April 30th
- May 7th
- May 14th
The fee for the session is $40 plus a small processing and Pickleball Canada development charge. The fee is slightly higher for this event as there are additional costs to permit schools on weekends.
Registration will initially be capped at 60 players, after which individuals will be given the opportunity to join a wait list. The cap may be adjusted.
Membership to the Barrie Pickleball Club, Pickleball Ontario, and Pickleball Canada is required.
Disclaimer - The school board may cancel dates at their sole discretion and it is unlikely there will be make-up days.
The web based application Playerlineup.com will be utilized to communicate and organize play.
Paddles and balls are not provided.
