Membership in the Battlefords Pickleball Club is open to individuals in the Battlefords area who are interested in, or involved with the sport of pickleball. There is a low annual fee of $25 to join which also provides you with membership in the Pickleball Saskatchewan organization and Pickleball Canada organization.
What will your yearly membership do for you and the game of pickleball in the Battlefords area?
- Confirm that the BPC has strong support to advocate for enhanced and expanded pickleball play.
- Provide the BPC the credibility it needs to go forward in applying for grants and other funding opportunities;
- Enable the Club to provide clinics and workshops aimed at improving the skills of members at all levels;
- Fund the purchase and upkeep of equipment;
- Ensure centralized communication regarding playing times, pickleball events and tournaments, club events and workshops, etc.;
- Vote at the Annual General Meeting
- Provide club members with a $10,000 medical expense reimbursement policy referred to as a Participant Sport Accident Insurance policy through Pickleball Canada at all scheduled play times.
- Assist in the promotion and growth of pickleball in the community.
Other benefits include:
- Membership in Pickleball Saskatchewan: supports growth of pickleball in Saskatchewan;
- Membership in Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO): supports development of coaching, officiating, etc. across Canada.
- Membership card/number and newsletter from Pickleball Canada.

As part of the new system, all memberships will expire on December 31st of each year. During 2021 your renewal reminder email will still come at the start of the month of your previous expiry date; however, your renewal will only extend your membership until December 31st, 2021.
Going forward, all members will be reminded to renew during December for January 1st – December 31st of the following year. New members (or late renewals) can be done at any time throughout the year; however, the membership will still expire on December 31st. Any renewals or new members joining October 1st through December 31, will expire December 31st of the following year. Keeping your membership up to date keeps your Sport Injury insurance in force plus provides opportunity to receive invitations to register for organized play and training opportunities.
