Our Pro Cookie Cherilyn Drake
The Cold Lake Pickleball Club is very fortunate to have our own 5.0 and Senior Pro level competitor.
Cookie Drake has played pickleball for 9 years. She began as a 3.5 player and worked her way up to playing at the 5.0 and Senior Pro level competing in Canada, United States and Europe. She is a Professional Pickleball Association instructor at the professional level and has worked with many top instructors conducting clinics in US, Canada, Japan, Italy, Finland, And Mexico.
Some of her major accomplishments are:
3 x US open gold, 4 x US open silver medalist, 3 time Canadian National Silver medalist, 2x gold medalist at US Nationals and 4x silver medalist US Nationals, bronze medalist Tournament of Champions, 10 x Gold medalist Grand Canyon State Games, 6 x gold medalist Huntsmen World senior games, 3 x gold medalist US National Senior Games.
Cookie is an International Federation of Pickleball world ambassador and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills. She loves teaching with her husband Les Drake and hopes to spend many more years giving to the pickleball community.
