(Alternate location - Quesnel Junior School)

We are proud to bring Kristina Lidster and her partner Matt Stodola back to Quesnel for another clinic weekend. Kristina and Matt are certified IPTPA Level 2 instructors as well as IPTPA certified ratings specialists. They are active tournament players, and members and sponsors of the Kamloops Pickleball Club. Their company is Mak Racquet Sports http://makracquetsports.ca/ Matt was drafted to a team for Canadian National Pickleball League for the second year so is officially a professional pickleball player. Kristina is involved with the team as the team coach and manager.

9:30-12 Recreational and Novice Group Lesson

Limit 20 players - Saturday & Sunday

  • First Timers, Beginners
  • Can hit simple shots
  • Basic understanding of rules
  • Sustains short rally
  • Basic ability to keep score
  • Developing techniques and fundamental skills

12:30-3:00 Intermediate Group Lesson

Limit 20 players- - Saturday & Sunday

  • Understands rules, strategy & court position
  • Regularly uses dinks & lobs
  • Can hit a mix of shots
  • Sustains medium length rallies
  • Consistently gets serve/return in play
  • Plays at Non-volley zone (Kitchen)

COST FOR GROUP LESSONS

$45 for 2.5 hour lesson

1 coach per 10 players

Advanced Players Private or Small Group Lessons

(Up to 4 players per session)

  • Demonstrate a broad knowledge of the rules
  • Get a high majority of serves in, are able to serve and return serves deep,
  • Hit to the weak side of the opponent often, and demonstrate more strategies during games.
  • Advanced players work better with partners in communicating, covering court, and moving to the net.
  • Can execute: lobs, forehand/backhand groundstrokes, overheads, net volleys, and sustained dinking
  • Uses drop shots or drives & drop shots to get to the net,
  • Hit fewer balls out of bounds or in the net and are able to sustain dinking in the game

#1 Play with a Pro - “3 Plus Me” 3:30-4:30 OR 5:00-6:00

Matt Stodola (rated 5.5) 2nd year playing on a Canadian National Pickleball Team. Matt will play with 3 players at a time for one hour. Players will have a 'playing' lesson. They will have a chance to play with him and against him. During this game/lesson, Matt will discuss shot selection, court positioning as well as execution. "Play with our CNPL Pro!" 3 people max per hour. COST $35 per person

#2 Private or Semi-Private Lessons with Kristina 3:30-4:30 OR 5:00-6:00

Kristina will tailor a one hour lesson on specific skills that the person or group would like to work on. Once you are signed up you can email Kristina with particulars once you have registered to give her more information about what you would like her to cover in your lesson. kristina@makracquetsports.ca

COST for ONE HOUR LESSON

1 person - $80

2 people - $50 per person

3 people - $40 per person

4 people - $35 per person
