With a fresh, safe court surface, the remainder of the grant from Peace Hills Insurance awarded to the Revelstoke Pickleball Club was applied to the resurfacing of the two outdoor pickleball courts at the Columbia Park recreational area. The courts were professionally ground, levelled, sealed, taped, and coated with multiple layers of sport court surface by Tomko Sports. The results are fantastic looking, and playing, courts.

Peace Hills Insurance, through Revelstoke Credit Union Insurance Services, awarded the Revelstoke Pickleball Club a significant grant toward improving the pickleball facilities at the Columbia Park recreation area. The broken and uneven sections of pavement were cut out, the underlying base material removed, and new base material and fresh pavement were professionally installed by Valley Blacktop of Revelstoke. This was the initial step in the revitalization of the pickleball courts and consumed approximately half of the grant.
