Vacant Time Slot Usage

When playing spots are vacant for a particular session, and there is no wait list, a member may invite a player from another level to fill the slot using the following guidelines:

  1. A recreational player may invite a competitive player to a recreational session to allow for mixed play. The competitive player will adjust their level of play as required.
  2. A competitive player may invite a recreational player to a recreational session provided that player is adequately skilled to keep up with the level of play. This would include players who have a DUPR rating approaching 3.1.
  3. In both circumstances, the invited player should improve the overall flow of the session. For example, if there are only 7 players, consider inviting a guest member to round out play to 8. However, if there are already 4 players, adding a fifth player as a guest would NOT be recommended.
