New Indoor Venue
We have exciting news! In response to multiple requests from members to move our indoor program closer to Bath, the club’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors have entered into an agreement with Fairgrounds in the Cataraqui Mall for the upcoming indoor season. We’ve secured courts for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, from October to April.
Cost per game should be comparable to last year's, but the sessions will be longer (more days), so each session will cost more. We’ll have full details in the near future.
The BPC leadership believes this change of venue will encourage greater participation among our members, and we look forward to this new chapter in the club’s evolution.

Social/Competitive Court Rules
The Bath Pickleball Club Executive Committee recently met to establish clarity regarding how Social and Competitive courts are to be allocated during regular play.
The EC has determined that to ensure a “balanced” approach to court play, the following shall now be implemented:
1. Upon initial play, the paddle racks shall be labelled with the respective Competitive and Social signage.
2. Upon initial play, two Competitive courts shall be established, with signage, as soon as the courts are opened in the early morning. Social play can occur on those courts until enough players have expressed the desire to play Competitive. At this point these courts are to be Competitive only until demand has diminished. The balance (six courts) are to be utilized for Social play.
3. The option of establishing a third Competitive court shall not occur until there are six paddles (players) waiting in the cue. This would result in eight players currently playing and six in the cue for a total of 14 Competitive players. At this point a third Competitive court can be established as long as there is not an overflow of paddles on the Social play racks.
4. Should the volume of players be significant at peak times, games shall be played to a score of nine for Social and/or Competitive courts to facilitate faster rotation.
The BPC will continue to emphasize an inclusive, relaxed, and social environment for all levels of play. At certain peak times a level of flexibility and understanding is required.
