Mono Pickleball Club is very excited to be hosting an end-of-season Team Challenge.
This event will be based on teams competing with each other. Each team will have a combination of advanced, intermediate, and novice players. Each team will also have (ideally) an equal number of male and female players. Team captains will be advanced players who will be assigned by the MPC admin.
Teams will be constructed by the MPC coaching staff. We will be looking at club ratings when filling out the team rosters to ensure that there are balanced rosters.
The morning portion will be the preliminary doubles matches, consisting of: Same Level Doubles (partners of the same level), and Split Level Doubles (partners from different levels).
The afternoon portion will be "entire team" pool play, where your entire roster will face another team’s entire roster.
Once teams are assigned, teams will be notified of their team color. You will need to supply your own shirts.
* This is expected to be an all-day affair. Please plan accordingly. Expected ending time will be determined soon, as it is contingent upon the town's schedule which we are negotiating now.
