Program Details
Novice Recreational League -- Mondays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (September 21 through December 7 -- twelve evenings)
This recreational league is open to Halifax Pickleball Club members who are novice level players (2.0 to 3.0 self assessed click here for self assessment guidelines). It is appropriate for newer players or for those who prefer a softer game. While we will be providing coaching support on 2 of the nights, the majority of this league is recreational play that is non-instructional. Those looking for further skill development should visit our lessons page.
Players will revolve through 3 courts as the night progresses with a chance to play with different people over the course of each session and from week to week. Only those registered may play – no substitutions please (we will have enough registered players to cover any gaps if people need to miss some days).
Bring your paddle, water, and non-marking indoor shoes (shoes MUST be changed on entry). Eye protection is highly recommended. Our facility dress code requires loose fitting clothing that covers from shoulders to fully past the knees. And we ask players to avoid orange and neon/fluorescent clothing.

Registration Fees
Registration for this 12 week program is $135 (including all administrative fees). On two of the evenings we will also have have coaches on-site providing tips and advice to help players advance their game, adjust for different types of play, or master challenging shots.
It is a rotating round robin recreational league and there will be no need to find replacements for yourself if you cannot play on some of the nights. Just show up and play when you can... all fun, no work!
Participation is open to members, in good standing, of the Halifax Pickleball Club who are age 19 or older. New members can join while registering or add us as a club to their existing Pickleball NS account.
