Regina Minor Pickleball League
Description and Registration Information
Pickleball Regina: Regina Minor Pickleball League (RMPBL)
Program and Training;
Pickleball Regina is excited to provided a youth program for all children. The PMPBL program for ages 10 years and older is a combination of skill development, fun and game progression.
Each session is six (6) weeks with each two (2) hour lessons. Sessions are being offered for skills development and an introduction to competitive play. All on-court coaches have completed the National Coaches Certification Program (NCCP) through Pickleball Canada and completed their vulnerable level criminal record check.
Goal:
To Involve everyone to learn and enjoy pickleball while meeting new friends and having fun at each class.
RMPBL Curriculum:
The classes will for organized for all levels of skill. Throughout the classes, there will be a focus on developing basic sklls and implementing them into game situations. The importance of repetition and practice will be stressed while developing the needed skills to progress from beginner to an advanced player. Participants will be placed into the appropriate groups to challenge themselves to become better players.
Each week builds on the prior week to develop:
- forehand/backhand shots
- soft shots (dinking)
- serving
- lobs
- overhead shots
- rules and game play
- physical preparation and court awareness

Skill Development: Sunday January 12 - February 16, 2025, 12:00- 2:00pm

Introduction to Competitive Play: Tuesday January 14 - February 18, 2025, 6:00 - 8:00pm

Location: Queen City Pickleball Hub, located at REAL District (off Lewvan Drive and 11th Avenue)
Cost is $75 for the 6 week program plus applicable taxes and admin fees. Participants can join one or both of the sessions.
Includes court fees, loaner paddles/balls, Pickleball Canada/Pickleball Regina membership fees and injury insurance, coaches honorariums.
T-shirts are available for $20.00 plus applicable taxes and admin fees. Please provide the size needed

Please wear indoor court footwear, clothing you can move freely in, and bring a water bottle. You will get warm and thirsty! Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your session to have time to change your shoes and get your loaner paddle.
Bring your enthusiasm and sportsmanlike behaviour and you will have a FUN time!
