Welcome to the Pickleball Canada Officiating Program

Individuals wishing to take the first step in becoming a Pickleball Canada referee and access referee training materials must complete the Verified Trainee (VT) Registration Form. Once your registration is approved, you will receive access to the training materials and be recognized as a Pickleball Canada Verified Trainee.

A non-refundable $20 fee is required to enter the officiating program as a VT. Verified Trainee status is valid for one year from the date of approval. If your Verified Trainee status expires and you wish to re-enter the program, you will be required to submit a new registration form and pay the applicable program fee.

Please read and agree to the following:

On approval of your request to become a Pickleball Canada Verified Trainee you will be granted access to the USA Pickleball copyrighted material as part of the Pickleball Canada Officiating Program. 

You further understand that by being approved as Verified Trainee or becoming a credentialed referee, you agree not to distribute or otherwise use copyrighted protected information outside of Pickleball Canada events and training without written approval from Pickleball Canada's Manager of Officiating. This includes public distribution such as videos, social media posts and printing for non personal use. 

By accepting the position of Verified Trainee, or any credentialed level of officiating, you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct found on the Pickleball Canada Officiating Program Information tab ,as outlined in the Officiating Handbook, and also found in Officiating Program Overview Document.

You must also be aware of and comply with the Pickleball Canada Dress Code as outlined on the Pickleball Canada Officiating webpages. 

Pickleball Canada has zero tolerance on gambling or betting on Pickleball related activities. Failure to comply may result in the termination of your participation in the Pickleball Canada Officiating program, removal of any credentials, and/or possible legal action.

I understand that Pickleball Canada will verify my membership, activity, and involvement. Providing false or misleading information will result in immediate rejection or removal from the officiating program.
