Blind River Pickleball Club

We are a group of Pickleball enthusiasts ( minimum age 19) who meet throughout the year and enjoy friendly and competitive play.

During the outdoor season (May to September) we play on new dedicated courts on Indiana Avenue, just east of the community centre. Our schedule for outdoor play runs five days a week from Monday to Friday. Several different leagues have been established to accommodate players of different levels of ability.

During our indoor season (September to April) we play at W. C. Eaket Secondary School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Our sessions start at 6:15PM and run until 9:15PM. Eaket has 4 courts and on Tuesday we use a paddles up system that allows all players equal access to the courts for the first 2 hours while we celebrate Tournament level play for the last hour. On Thursday, this schedule is reversed and we start by playing tournament play and then paddles up play. You can come to play at any time while we play paddles up, even if you are late.

We also have a second play day during the indoor season (October to April), we meet Wednesday evenings at 7PM until 8:45PM. We are currently using Jeunesse-Nord’s gymnasium. We use all six Pickleball courts which will accommodate up to 24 players. We use a round robin system that allows all players equal opportunity to have a diverse playing experience.
