About Us
Coaldale Pickleball Club (CPC) was formed in 2021 to promote and develop the sport of pickleball in Coaldale and surrounding area thereby enhancing community wellness by increased physical activity and social interaction. The CPC has a close working relationship with the Town of Coaldale and partners with Pickleball Alberta and Pickleball Canada.
Pickleball Canada/Pickleball Alberta/Coaldale Pickleball Club Membership is required for participation in the Coaldale Pickleball Club. We provide opportunities for Indoor and Outdoor play as well as social activities throughout the year.
- Outdoor Play - Our four outdoor courts at Eastview Park (1825 10th Street, Coaldale) are typically open from early April to October. Access to Outdoor play is included with the CPC Membership. During inclement weather, we will move our outdoor schedule to the SHIFT Community Recreation Center (2600 16 Avenue, Coaldale). Note: there is a small charge for play at The SHIFT ($5.50 - $6.75 per day – age dependent).
- Indoor Play - Our three indoor courts are located in the Coaldale Mennonite Church gymnasium (2316 - 17 Street, Coaldale). Please contact coaldalepickleballclub@gmail.com for information regarding purchase of a season pass for indoor group play sessions.
Our Board provides oversight and direction for all CPC programs. We try to work closely with our members to offer programming that supports quality play. We actively support Adult Play, Senior Play, and a Junior Program.
