Come Play with Us!
On any given day, dawn to dusk, and as long as its dry, you'll find us on the courts!
Douglas Park Pickleball is a group of active, community-minded, fun and inclusive people who range in age and ability, but all have a passion for giving back and playing pickleball!
As a group, it is our aim to create a warm, welcoming and inviting forum for people to not only learn and play pickleball, but to feel a sense of community.
Learn to Play
We occasionally host clinics at Douglas Park, for various player levels (often 3.0 and 3.5+) and taught by various instructors. Recently, we have held clinics by Steve Deakin Pickleball, as well as Charles Neufeldt of Pickleball Paddles Canada. Information on upcoming clinics will be posted on our Facebook page and through our group chats.
Lessons for new players are sometimes offered at Timms Community Centre and Walnut Grove Community Centre - please check their websites for calendar and information.
You can also visit www.stevedeakinpickleball.com for information on monthly "Introduction to Pickleball" programs offered by SDP.
