Organization Name:

Fort Pickleball Club

Organization Purpose:

To promote and organize Pickleball play in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan as well as assisting the town of Fort Qu’Appelle in financing upgrades to the courts.

Membership:

Membership is open to the general public. Fort Pickleball Club fees will be collected annually and may be set by the club executive or by the membership at an annual meeting. Club members must possess a current membership to Pickleball Canada and Pickleball Saskatchewan.

Officers:

  • Past President
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary/Treasurer

Duties and terms:

  • All terms shall be one year
  • President: The President chairs all club meetings and represents the club at external meetings.
  • Vice President: The Vice- President assists the President and performs the duties of the President in the President’s absence.
  • Secretary/Treasurer: The Secretary/Treasurer keeps records of all proceedings and is responsible for the receipt of money, deposits and the preparation of financial statements.
  • Signing authority shall be two of three of the President, Vice President and/or Secretary/Treasurer.

Meetings:

A minimum of one meeting per year will occur. The annual meeting will be held in the Spring of each year, if possible. The annual meeting may be delayed due to a pandemic or other situation making it impossible to hold a meeting. Two of four executive members must be present at the annual meeting. Quorum shall be set at eight.

Committees:

Committees will be formed as the need arises. (i.e. in the case of hosting a tournament, a major fundraiser, etc.)
