RJPC court construction is underway this summer 2023
October 28, 2023- Second coat of surfacing applied, fencing up and gates in place as well as poles for nets. Ready for lines and final fencing between courts next week. Almost complete!
October 21, 2023: finishing steps being done on courts. Fencing up and first coating on courts done this past week!
Sept 25, 2023
Only a few important steps remain. Asphalt for the courts was laid on September 15, 2023. The next step will be putting in the net post bases and the fence and gates around the court which should be completed by early October. The final step in court construction will be applying the rubberized coating to the courts, which should happen later in October (this step is highly weather dependent).
We are working on a concrete pad/waiting area and sidewalks to both the waiting area and the washroom. We will also be building a shade shelter over the waiting area, and improving the washroom facilities as the funds become available. Depending upon the availability of funds and contractors, some of these things may be completed in 2023 with the remainder happening in late spring or early summer 2024.
August 29 2023- rocks in and rollers flattening surface this week.
Aug 30- next level of rock has arrived
September 15- paving of the courts
