LEARN 2 PLAY PICKLEBALL — THURSDAY MORNING SERIES
Are you new to pickleball and ready to jump in? This two‑session program is the perfect opportunity to learn the basics and meet fellow pickleball enthusiasts from the Markham community.
- Dates: Thursday, July 9 & Thursday, July 16
- Time: 10 AM – 12:00 PM
- Fee: $20 per session + HST (Total: $40 + HST for the program)
- Location: Markham Civic Centre Parking Lot Pickleball Courts (look for the YELLOW fencing)
Join us for a fun and informative Learn 2 Play Clinic, designed specifically for Markham residents looking to get started at the Markham Civic Centre Parking Lot Pickleball Courts.
What You'll Learn
This beginner‑friendly clinic will cover the essentials, including:
- How to serve, rally, and dink
- Basic game rules and scoring
- Tips for improving control, consistency, and gameplay
What to Bring
- Athletic shoes only (no open‑toe footwear)
- Water or sports drink
- Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
- A paddle (recommended — loaner paddles and balls will be available)
Clinic Size
- Minimum: 6 participants
- Maximum: 12 participants

Refund Policy – Learn 2 Play Clinic
We understand that plans change and weather happens! Below is our refund policy for the Learn 2 Play Clinic:
❌ Cancellations by Participants
- No refunds will be issued if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the scheduled clinic.
- If you're unable to attend, you may find a substitute to take your spot.
🌧️ Weather-Related Cancellations
- If the clinic is cancelled due to rain or wet conditions that make the courts unsafe, we will do our best to reschedule you into the next available session.
- If rescheduling is not possible, a refund of the lesson fee will be processed.
Refund Details
- If a refund is issued, it will be for the lesson fee only.
- No administrative fees are charged by MPC.
- Please note: Credit card processing fees are managed externally and cannot be refunded by MPC.
