Orientation to Pickleball
Next Orientation (Learn to Play) class date is Friday June 16th. Doors open 09:30 AM for warm up - sessions start promptly at 10: 00 AM and end at 12:00 PM.. At the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre, 255 Hamilton Ave.
Registration is currently "wait List" only until we can accommodate those already on the signup.
- Wait listed people will receive an invite email and web link to finish their registration.
- Invites to this session are based on the date you initially joined the list.
This Class is for you if:
You are new to the game and want to see how it is played.
This 90 min. session will cover.
- Court smarts (etiquette and safety).
- How to serve and return.
- Movement on the court
- The basic rules of the game.
Additional time is available to allow you to play a few games after the lessons.
Membership in Winnipeg West Pickleball Club Is NOT required, but a desire to have fun is.
Registration is required. Registration is limited to 12-16 players, 4 per court. First registered, first in.
Paddles can be provided, if you do not own one.
Court (tennis) shoes preferred.
Location for lessons: Bruce Oake Recovery Centre.
We will be charging a $20.00 fee to cover costs and a donation to the Bruce Oake Recovery Center.
Pickleball Manitoba also has Learn to Play (Saturdays) and Skills Clinics running in June.
