How to sign up to become an APA member
- Open the APA / Pickleball Canada registration page
Go to the Amherstburg Pickleball Association club page on Pickleball Canada’s registration system (this is the official sign-up portal). Pickleball Canada+1 - Click “Join / Renew” (or “Register”)
On the club page, look for the "Join–Renew" or "Register" button. That will send you into the Pickleball Canada / Pickleball Ontario registration flow. Pickleball Canada+1 - Look up existing membership first
The system will ask if you already have a membership. Use the Lookup tool first (enter name or email) to avoid duplicate accounts. If you’re already in the system, select 'Renew' instead of creating a new account. Pickleball Canada - Create an account / enter your personal details
If you’re new, create a registrant account: name, email, address, phone, emergency contact, etc. Pickleball Canada - Select your province and club
When prompted, choose Ontario and then Amherstburg Pickleball Association as your club. The system groups Pickleball Canada (national), Pickleball Ontario (provincial), and your club together so you pay all required fees in one checkout. Pickleball Canada+1 - Review fees & waivers
- You’ll be asked to accept standard waivers/insurance terms before finishing registration. Read and accept to proceed.
- Pay online
Pay with the online payment options shown (credit card). A small processing fee may apply. After payment, you’ll receive a confirmation and a membership number/receipt by email. Pickleball Canada+1 - Save/print your receipt & membership number
Keep the confirmation email (it typically includes your membership ID). This may be needed for league signups, tournaments, or proof of membership for drop-ins. - APA uses its website and Facebook for updates — join. the APA page for events and news. Facebook+1

APA 2026 Club Championship Tournament
The Amherstburg Pickleball Association (APA) capped off a sensational outdoor summer season with its annual Club Championship Tournament on October 3rd and 4th at the Libro Center courts. Serving as a celebrated season finale, the two-day event showcased outstanding athletic talent, local sportsmanship, and deep community spirit.
The tournament delivered high-octane action across multiple skill tiers, ranging from intermediate divisions to open 4.0+ categories.
- Saturday, October 3rd: Focused on Men’s and Women’s Doubles, where pairs battled through intense round-robin play and elimination brackets.
- Sunday, October 4th: Featured dynamic Mixed Doubles action, bringing fast-paced rallies, strategic dinking, and high-energy competition to the Libro courts.
Over 62 registered teams—comprising more than 100 dedicated local players—took to the outdoor courts to compete for top club honors. Participants across all age groups and skill levels demonstrated remarkable skill, resilience, and camaraderie, filling the venue with supportive cheer and tight, hard-fought matches throughout both days.
The tournament’s resounding success was made possible by the incredible effort of the APA executive board, tournament directors, court convenors, and dedicated volunteers. From managing complex DUPR-rated brackets and scheduling to setting up equipment, organizing refreshments, and managing court flow, the volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless, welcoming, and memorable weekend for players and spectators alike.
A Fantastic Season Finale: Thanks to the enthusiastic players, energetic fans, and selfless volunteers, the championship tournament highlighted the strength and growth of the local pickleball community as outdoor play wrapped up at the Libro courts.

Amherstburg Pickleball Association and the Running Factory are excited to announce an agreement where all active 2026 APA members are eligible for 15% off select items.
