April 12th Tournament
Morning Session
The Morning session will be for individual play, maximum of 28 players. You will be assigned to a court of 7 players and play a round robin of 10 games. Your scores will be tabulated and teams formed, player 1 will play with 28, player 2 with 27 and so on forming 14 teams. From the 14 teams it will go to a bracket style tournament with a loss your done, which will leave 7 teams of which the team with best for and against points will get a bye into the round of 4. The next round will be a bracket of 6 teams and again lose and your done, there will be 3 winning teams coming out of this bracket and with the team that had the bye will make 4 from this bracket the 2 winners will play for silver and gold and the 2 loser will play for bronze.
In order to complete play in a timely manner we will be using Rally Scoring first to 11 for both sessions all games.
Afternoon Session
The afternoon session will be for team play, maximum 28 teams. There will be 3 divisions on 4 courts , 3.0 and above (7 teams) 3.5 and above (14) and 4.0 and above (7). Players will have to self rate and choose partners that fall into the same rating category. You will be assigned to a court of 7 teams and play a double elimination bracket with one team getting a bye into second round. Losers will go into losers bracket and will be able to win there way into the final, two losses and your done.
Scoring will be regular scoring to 11 win by 2. Final will be regular scoring to 15 win by 2
