Membership
Invermere Pickleball Club (IPBC) has two membership categories:
- Adult (19+)
- Junior (8-18)
The total annual cost for an Adult membership is $124.07. This includes $100 for IPBC membership, $10 for Pickleball Canada (PCO) membership, $7.50 for Pickleball BC (PBC) membership.
The total annual cost for a Junior membership is $37.50. This includes $20 for IPBC membership, $10 for PCO membership, $7.50 for PBC membership.
IPBC's season runs from April to October, however your fees for PCO and PBC provide you with membership to them on an annual basis.
What do your fees cover?
- Court maintenance and equipment
- Curling rink fees
- Organized unlimited play sessions at two venues (outdoors and indoors) during our season
- Participation in club-organized coaching and training sessions
- Additional structures such as shade umbrellas, paddle boxes, storage organizers
- Fund for future court costs
- Voting rights toward electing board members and voting on decisions that should be made by the membership at the IPBC Annual General Meeting
- Insurance against injury while attending IPBC, PBC, and PCO-sanctioned events
- Early access to registration for IPBC tournaments
- Newsletters from IPBC, PBC, and PCO
- Membership to PBC supports the growth of pickleball in British Columbia
- Membership to PCO supports the development of coaching, officiating, skills development, and more across Canada
