In March 2020, before the brunt of COVID-19, a few of us (Leonard and Brenda Lye, and Barrie Barrell) were fortunate enough to take a weeklong pickleball clinic with top professionals Ben Johns, Dekel Bar, and Michelle Esquivel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was an unforgettable experience not just because of the COVID situation but the fine instruction and tips given by the world’s top player, Ben Johns.
