Welcome to Sussex Pickleball Club
Introduction
The Sussex Pickleball Club (SPC) promotes both recreational and competitive play, fostering a sense of community and enjoyment for all players. Located in southern New Brunswick, we are conveniently positioned between Saint John, Moncton, and Fredericton.
Outdoor Play
- Beginning Spring 2025 the Sussex Pickleball Club will manage the Brown's Paving Pickleball Park where you will find four beautiful dedicated pickleball courts.
- Registration for outdoor play will open mid to late April.
- Every registered player must also have a Sussex Pickleball Club membership through Pickleball Canada.
Indoor Play
- During the winter months we play at the Sussex Trinity Anglican Church and the Sussex Middle School.
- Each session has a small fee associated which will be invoiced to each player at the beginning of each month for the previous month.
- Every player must be a member of Sussex Pickleball Club through Pickleball Canada.
Additional Information
- Membership fees are not prorated and are non-transferable.
- We use Playtime Scheduler to organize and manage court scheduling for structured play. All Sussex Pickleball Club members are required to have a Playtime Scheduler profile, which can be created for free at playtimescheduler.com.
- Occasionally, SPC will schedule court sessions based on skill ratings, gender, drills, or other specific criteria. While a skill rating is not required for open or drop-in play, certain courts and times will be reserved for club or tournament-rated players. We use DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) for player ratings, and all members who would like to play in DUPR rated games will need to create a DUPR profile. To play on a rated court, members must have the appropriate rating.
- Our facebook page exclusively for SPC members is called "Sussex Pickleball Club".
