FRIDAYS Indoor Pickleball at KSSC
Join us for some indoor pickleball fun! Whether you're looking to stay active, improve your game, or just enjoy friendly competition, this program is a great way to connect and play.
Day and Time: Fridays 12 – 2 PM
Dates: Starts Sept 4th until Oct 30th (9-week program)
Location: King Square Sports Centre
9390 Woodbine Ave, 2nd Floor (North of 16th Ave)
Fees:
- MPC Members: $10 per week + HST
- NON-Members: $11 per week + HST
Capacity: 16 spots available per session.
This program is not for beginners. All participants should already:
- Know the rules of the game
- Understand scoring and be able to call out the score before serving
- Demonstrate proper court positioning
- Have experience with basic shot selection and rally play
Some core fundamentals of pickleball - what you should think about while playing:
- Consistent serves and returns ((DEEP! And remember the 2-bounce Rule)
- Learning how to take control at the kitchen line (remember your ready position)
- Dinking and soft control at the net (remember, bending your knees, paddle in front, controlled wrist, lift)
- Basic volleys and paddle positioning
- Keeping the ball in play to build consistency and confidence
- Serve & Stay! Return & Run!

It is a 9-week pickleball program on Fridays from Sept 4th to Oct 30th at 12-2 pm. This program is not for beginners.
We will have 3 courts and a maximum of 16 players, using the "winner/runner-up rotation system". Please note there are no refunds for missed sessions. However, if you're unable to attend, you're welcome to sell your spot to another player. The recommended resale price is $11, where the buyer usually sends the amount by e-transfer to the seller.
Note: Indoor balls will be provided.
